GTA: San Andreas Guide

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is the third title in the GTA III trilogy. First released on the PlayStation 2 in October 2004, and later ported to the Xbox and Windows, San Andreas was a marked success across all platforms. Unlike Liberty City that players explored in GTA III, and the Vice City of the eponymous sequel, San Andreas is an entire state, comprised of three cities: Los Santos, which is based on Los Angeles; San Fierro, which is based on San Fransisco; and Las Venturas, which is based on Las Vegas. Aside from the three cities there is also the expansive backlands of San Andreas, making for a tremendously large mass of land to explore.
Set in the early 90s, you take on the role of Carl “CJ” Johnson. After a long stay in Liberty City, CJ returns to his home in Los Santos, San Andreas after learning of his mother’s murder. The streets of Los Santos are rampant with gang violence, corruption, and drug trafficking, and CJ’s friends and family are in turmoil. It’s up to CJ to investigate his mother’s murder, reunite the family, and take back the streets of Los Santos.
This guide contains strategies for each and every mission in the game. There are also maps showing the locations of the Tags in Los Santos, the Photo Ops in San Fierro, the Horseshoes in Las Venturas and the Oysters in the waters of San Andreas. You’ll also find a list of what is needed to attain 100% completion.

definition

My definition of cheating is simple, if you are having sex with someone else, you are cheating. If you are chasing someone else for sex, you might as well be cheating because if opportunity knocked you would answer the door naked or in the kinkiest outfit you could find in your closet with a smile on your face. I have been on both sides of the fence I am not proud to say.
My indiscretion carried on for almost a year before I gave my head a shake and realized that I was utterly depressed and unforgiving of the sin of adultery and did the same thing, thinking that it would even the score, and perhaps, numb the impossible, blinding, endless pain caused by a man who's child I gave birth to. It did not. I could not forgive the affair that tore my whole world apart.
Sleeping with someone else for me was a fantasy world to which I escaped my realities. I thought I was exacting revenge and turned out to be no better than the man who hurt me so bad. I was not in love with my lover, and wanted nothing from him except the sex and a relationship I considered "safe" because we were both married.
The whole issue with cheating is not as much about the "other person" as it is about the rebellion and emotional separation from your spouse. A sick part of you wants to hurt the person who hurt you, and that is how we justify our actions. Problem is, we still have to step up to the plate and live with the consequences of our actions and maybe, just maybe, if we thought to think about what we were doing to all the people we love we would stop and remember our wedding vows.

Your definition of cheatings

1. Cheat- verb
Definition: To gain an advantage by breaking rules.
2. Cheat on- colloquialism
Definition: To be sexually unfaithful to.

One of the most fascinating things about definitions is that they sometimes provide more questions than answers. The two aforementioned definitions seem simple enough. However, my own definition of cheating would account for the equivocal nature of cheating. It is still possible for me to extrapolate two points from the definitions:

a) That cheating involves breaking established rules, and
b) That it generally involves indiscretions of a sexual nature

The difficulty with rule-establishment in relationships is that rules are not often determined unequivocally. Decades ago, marriage was more common than it is now. The marriage "contract" was generally accepted, making cheating easier to define. Now people enter into long-term relationships without such a "contract" in place. They may even have expectations of the relationship, which may or may not be discussed before. In a proper definition of cheating, the contextual nature of the established rules and expectations must be addressed. We can then view rules as arising from marriage vows, socialisation and discussions of relationship expectations.

We know that some people are more tolerant than others. We also know that people have different opinions on what is acceptable and what is not based on experiences, culture, religion and so forth. Whether cheating must involve only intercourse or any sexual touching may have been the core debate before. Now that there are several other avenues for sexual expression, the concept of sexual unfaithfulness is cloudier. Is viewing porn a case of being sexually unfaithful? I think it may be, but I'm sure many people would not. Other shady areas may include masturbation, flirting and cyber-sex. Sometimes a liberal partner may only define those activities as cheating under specific conditions.

I read an article once where a phone-sex worker insisted that phone-sex is not cheating. The argument was that it is strictly a manifestation of fantasies, which does not often lead to real indiscretions. Let's pause for a moment and consider cheating in terms of breaking an agreement or dishonouring the expectations of your partner. Whether a sexual indiscretion is cheating or not, would then depend on if your partner perceives it to be cheating. Simply put, you're cheating only if your partner perceives the action to

break mutual relationship expectations.

Do you think that cheating should include more than sexual indiscretion? If you do, you could have a valid point. I refer to the argument that a relationship or marriage is about negotiated "rules" or a "social contract". Suppose one partner expects intimacy on all levels, including emotional fidelity. Such a partner would consider an intense emotional attachment, by his or her partner to another, to be cheating. Some would go so far as stating that anything (that involves another person or activity) that undermines the physical, emotional or spiritual connection with your partner to be cheating. It would include addictions, priorities or hobbies. However, this should not fall into the category of cheating in my view.

Your definition of cheating

In my opinion, there are three types of cheating. There is academic cheating. There is professional cheating. And there is emotional cheating. Academic cheating involves everything from a slight yet deliberate glance at a neighboring classmate's exam to obtain an answer that you were too ill-prepared to come up with on your own to paraphrasing or directly and deliberately copying another student's term paper out of laziness and sheer lack of knowledge. This type of cheating usually involves some type of academic warning system at its first or first few occurrences and it is usually swiftly followed by the certainty of academic dismissal or expulsion if the cheating pattern persists.

Then there is professional cheating. My mom and I both have suffered greatly at the hands of professional cheating. This type of cheating also involves plagiarism (that is the willful taking of another's work) but it also involves a boss or superior being allowed to take unfair advantage of you by either allowing you to do all the work and yet still get full credit for it or being allowed to repeatedly blame or treat you unfairly. This type of negative treatment might entail everything from not being offered a job but being expected to do it anyway to being either unfairly compensated financially or not compensated at all for a job already performed. This is incredibly unethical behavior. But the reality is, it happens all the time-either because a boss has less knowledge than you and wants to use your skills and abilities to seem impressive without allowing you to share the credit or because he or she simply does not care whether or not something illegal or criminal is going on. What is your best defense? I believe it is to let your superiors know that you are aware of their actions and ask them if they intend to either stop or to reconsider compensating you in a fair and just way. Should they refuse to cooperate, you might want to plan ahead and figure out whether it is appropriate for you to consider quitting or actually quit in the future.

And then there is the worst type of cheating-the emotional kind. This is when you date, "see" or at best, betroth yourself to one person-theoretically signifying a commitment to them-while simultaneously acting on your (at the time) perceived greater emotions for another. This type of cheating usually results in a marital affair or divorce-and at its very worst, the certainty of very wounded feelings, and a broken heart in need of time to mend and the need for a mediator to facilitate self-reflection and healing. If you truly love the one you're with or have any moral fiber in you, seriously reconsider this form of cheating.
